Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026. TrustCare is a service of Kadmon Group LLC ("TrustCare," "we," "us").
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
TrustCare is an advertising and information platform that lists home health and hospice providers and lets families choose which providers to contact. This policy explains what information we collect on the TrustCare website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. It does not apply to the providers listed on TrustCare or to their websites; providers are independent businesses with their own privacy practices and, where they are medical providers, their own obligations under health privacy laws such as HIPAA.
2. Information you give us
- Care search selections. When you use our search flow we ask the type of care you are looking for, who the care is for (for example, a parent or spouse), your ZIP code, and your timeline.
- Contact information. If you choose to send a request to providers, we collect your name, phone number, and email address so the providers you selected can reach you.
- Optional message. You may include a short message to your selected providers. We ask you not to include medical details or diagnoses in this field. If you choose to include such details anyway, we treat that content as sensitive: we share it only with the providers you selected, we never use it for advertising, and we apply the retention limits in section 9.
- Waitlist email. If we are not yet in your area, you may leave an email address so we can tell you when we expand.
3. What we do not collect
4. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we receive standard technical information when you visit: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and approximate region. We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and basic analytics as described in section 7.
5. How we use information
- To show providers serving your area and operate the request flow you initiate.
- To send your request, at your direction, to the providers you selected.
- To send you updates about your request if you opted in to texts or provided your email.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To keep records of consent and requests as required by law.
6. How we share information
- Providers you select. When you send a request, we share your name, contact information, care search selections, and optional message with the specific providers you chose. This disclosure happens at your direction and with your consent. We do not send your information to providers you did not select.
- Service providers. We use vendors that host our website, operate our customer relationship and messaging systems, and provide basic analytics. They may process information only to provide services to us.
- Legal. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the platform.
7. Cookies, analytics, and advertising pixels
We use cookies necessary for the site to work and basic analytics to understand site usage. If we use advertising conversion tools, we configure them to receive generic events only: we do not transmit your care type, search answers, message content, or any other health-context information to advertising platforms. Because we do not sell or share personal information, opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control do not change how we handle your data, and we honor them regardless. Our site does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.
8. Text message program
If you check the box to receive text updates, we may text you about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using TrustCare or of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Separately, when you send a request, you consent to being contacted by the providers you selected, as described in the consent language shown at the time you submit.
9. Retention
We keep request records, including consent records, for as long as needed to operate the service and to meet legal requirements, generally no longer than five years. Optional message content is deleted or de-identified on a shorter schedule once your request has been delivered and any follow-up period has passed. Waitlist emails are kept until we launch in your area or you ask us to delete them.
10. Your privacy rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request deletion, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with your request. We will verify your identity using the information associated with your request (such as your email or phone number) and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent by providing written permission. Residents of other states may have similar rights under their state laws, and we honor them through the same process.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No website can guarantee perfect security, which is one more reason we collect as little as possible.
12. Children
TrustCare is intended for adults arranging care and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged conspicuously on the site.
